Meet David Smith

 
"A lot of people feel embarrassed before coming to see me or even before calling. Some are concerned they will be judged. You know, it's the furthest thing from my mind. I know life is complicated - we're all human and life happens. If you need a hand, I want to help.

"Although I originally got into this line of work because I happen to be good with numbers, I discovered that as a trustee I could work with people one-on-one and make a positive difference in their lives. So really for me it's about people, not numbers. I entered this partnership because David Bromwich has the same kind of philosophy as my own. We both get a lot of satisfaction from our work and that's a good feeling to take home."

David Smith is a trustee in bankruptcy and has been an insolvency professional since 1993. He has worked with more than two thousand individuals, helping resolve financial problems, plus worked with many business owners to develop solutions for restructuring. David is married and has two young children. He enjoys spending time with his family and helping other individuals and their families resolve financial problems.
